Grants and Contracts
The Grants & Contracts Unit is a part of the Fiscal Office, providing fiscal management for over 100 contracts with external organizations that provide supportive services, equipment, and training to probation clients.
Grants staff review external funding opportunities for eligibility and alignment with Probation's goals, provides technical assistance throughout the grant proposal development process, submits funding proposals and supports fiscal and programmatic reporting for all grant-funded projects. Grants staff also support the development of grant-related community partnerships and fulfill Letter of Support/Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) requests.

If you are an agency or nonprofit organization requesting a letter of support or commitment from the Probation Department in connection to a grant proposal, please complete the following form with all required attachments. All letter of support requests required the signature of the Chief Probation Officer and should be submitted at least 10 days prior to the deadline to ensure proper review and signature. Please make sure to include all required attachments or your request may not be approved. If you have any questions about the status of your request, please email losrequest@acgov.org.
