Community Service Maps

The Alameda County Probation Department (ACPD) provides a diverse array of resources designed to support at-promise, justice-involved youth and their families. These resources are specifically aimed at low to moderate risk youth, focusing on preventative services at the early stages of justice system involvement. The programs emphasize support and guidance for youth and their families and are available throughout the County.

Service Maps: ACPD is committed to creating and sharing detailed maps of available services to better inform the community about the resources accessible to youth and their families. This initiative aims to improve awareness and enhance the delivery of comprehensive services. The service maps contain embedded links connecting directly to providers websites.

Community-Based Referrals: Referrals are made in two ways. Probation staff conduct comprehensive risk and needs assessments to identify the specific needs of each youth. Based on these assessments, they make referrals to various community-based agencies, ensuring that each youth receives appropriate and tailored services and support. Additionally, youth and their families can access services independently, without an assessment or involvement in the youth justice system, by contacting the service providers directly.

The overarching goal of these efforts is to enhance the effectiveness of ACPD’s programs and support the long-term success and stability of youth in Alameda County. By providing targeted services and improving community awareness, ACPD strives to foster positive outcomes for youth and their families.
