The Opioid and Other Drug Awareness Toolkit was developed to assist advocates and service providers that serve transitional-aged youth (probation officers, case managers, social workers, housing staff, and others) in gaining the knowledge and to identify, have conversations with and refer to treatment, young adults misusing substances, at risk of developing or with substance use disorders.
The pocket cards are business card-sized outreach cards that include resources for youth to get support in meeting their immediate needs, including suicide/self-harm, food, housing, needle exchange, overdose prevention, wound check, as well as get support for mental health and substance use challenges and crisis help
